“Das Personal war sehr nett. Frühstück war super und nett aufgebaut. Das Zimmer war gross. Leider fehlte die erste Nacht die TV remote und der TV ging dauernd alleine an - wurde aber schnell geklärt. Das Bad war leider eher weniger gut. Der Spiegel war dreckig und das Plastik drumherum lange nicht geputzt. Die Dusche hatte an der Decke viele Stockflecken. Die Metallteile der Dusche selber waren dreckig, kalkig und alt. Die Lodge heisst eigentlich Long Beach Hotel. Und es ist auch eher Hotel……

“This is a hidden gem… a beautiful hotel clean rooms and lovely staff The hotel is right on the beach in Long Island, this is between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay Anita and Dulcie were amazing hosts and perfect concierge services for all the activities.”

“Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr zentral, sodass man den Ort gut zu Fuß erkunden konnte. ”

“We stayed 1 night in the family unit on the second floor with the double bed and 2 twins. The room was very clean and the property is quiet and well maintained. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet that was included. The reception and eating area was very homely which we liked. The wifi was intermittent which was fine for us. It is a few minutes walk to the store to buy food and snacks and about 15mins to walk to the beach. All in all we had a nice stay!”

“The property is clean, tidy, well maintained and centrally located with easy access to downtown (3-5) minutes away and within walking distance to the harbour front and ocean. Harbour front ( next to yacht club) has nice restaurants and plenty of excursion options. Oh, yes and the Meransha staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. 10/10”

“Sauberes modernes Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick im 3. Stock, hilfsbereite Martina an der Rezeption die einem bei jeglichen Fragen zur Seite steht. Es gibt ein tolles Angebot an Touren welche bequem übers Haus gebucht werden können. Das Auto steht sicher in einer Garage und das Frühstück stärkt für den Tag an der Küste. Der Sonnenuntergang kann auf der Dachterasse genossen werden.”

“What an amazing place and the mgt. was so kind and considerate. I went back twice on my return and was in a bind as I was driving late at night. The mgt. helped organize a room through security since they were not on site due to my timing. So helpful and when mingling with guests there was only a positive vibe (both times).”
